Proper care of your chair ensures optimal performance, comfort and longevity.
Follow these simple maintenance steps to keep your chair in excellent condition.
Fabric/ Upholstery:
Vacuum regularly using and soft brush attachment. For spills, gently blot with a clean, dry cloth. Use Mild detergent and warm water for stains. Avoid soaking the fabric.
Vinyl/ Mesh or plastic:
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap or warm water. Do not scrub or use abrasive cleaners.
Plastic/Poly Components:
Use a soft damp cloth with mild soap. Dry with a clean cloth to avoid water spots.
Stainless/ Metal/ Base:
Wipe down with a non- abrasive cleaner. Avoid corrosive substances.
Leather:
Clean Gently. Use a damp (not wet) cloth with lukewarm water. Wipe gently and dry immediately
Dust regularly using a soft, dry cloth
To be avoided: Bleach
The use of bleach may occur for disinfecting,
however it is recommend to avoid its use as it can discolour fabric, corrodes metal, & can damage surfaces. Cleaning:
Immediately soak up the stain with a soft absorbent cloth.
Do not dry the stain completely or it may set. The longer a stain is allowed to remain on the fabric,
the more difficult it is to remove.
Water-based Stains:
Use a water-based cleaner (specifically made for fabric) or a solution of warm soapy water applied with a damp clean cloth or sponge.
Test the cleaning solution on a small, concealed area first. Work the cleaner into a lather or foam.
Soak up all remaining solution and then use a clean cloth or a sponge dipped in water to remove any residue. Never use hot water; it will set the stain. Avoid scrubbing.
Oil-based Stains:
Use a dry – cleaning solution applied with a damp clean cloth. Test the cleaning solution on a small, concealed area first.
If there is no spotting, ringing, or damage to the fabric or its dyes, apply the cleaning solution to the stained area.
Begin at the outside of the stain and work toward the centre, being careful not to over-saturate the fabric.
